And then there were five....

Today is the last day (if all goes well) that we will be a family of four. I am scheduled to go to the hospital tonight to start the induction process so that our third little girl - Baby Brenna - will arrive with us tomorrow!! In honor of this, I have finally decided to start my own blog. As most of you who know me already know, I am a blog stalker. I love reading about other people's lives. I have been doing it for about a year now, much to the dismay of my family and friends. But I've never ventured out on my own and written about myself (for soooo many reasons).

Last night, though, I was making some instructions for my sister, who will be staying with my girls while we're in the hopsital. And I realized that I would like to save them because chances are, in the chaos of life, I will forget these adorable little details of my current girls, Logan and Hayden. What better way to truly document their lives than through blogging?

So....it begins.....

Here is my initial inspiration. I compiled this list specifically so my sister could understand my toddler while I was gone. And now looking at it, I think it's a perfect keepsake to remember her first words.

Words by Hayden

· Eat
· Milk
· Wa-Wa - (Water)
· Poo-poo
· Up and dow (Up and down)
· Help
· Ball
· Back or Ba – (Bounce) – this either means in the new baby’s crib or outside
· CackCack (sounds like cock-cock actually) – This means Quack and she usually says it during nap times when she wants to look at the duckie from the Brown Bear book
· Ibby-bibby (or it sounds like ABC) – this means she wants you to sing the Itsy bitsy spider song
· Pat-Pat or woll – means she wants the patty cake song
· One-mo – She does this during the bedtime routine when she wants you to read one more book – she usually holds up one finger by her ear also.
· Dog
· Abby
· Baby
· Woof-woof (means dog)
· Meeeee (Meow for a cat)
· Hello? – this usually means she wants to the phone
· Doe-doe – this means Deda (hahahaha)
· Mimi – Mema
· Mom-mom –
· Yiyee, or Lo or Lo-lo – Logan
· Apple – means any kind of fruit that she wants
· Dah (and she’ll clap her hands or wipe them together) – this means she is “all done”
· Wuv – she wants a hug
· Woo, or fee – means “shoe” or “feet”

Hayden will be 17 months old this week. Isn't she cute???

And of course, there's my big girl, Logan - she amazes me every day with her kind heart and independent thinking....

And here is our family of four....until Brenna makes five that is!!
